Though a wing tip tuxedo shirt is more common, the laydown tuxedo shirt has gained in popularity over the last few years. Besides the wing tip and laydown collar tuxedo shirt, we also offer a mandarin collar tuxedo shirt. Mandarin collar tux shirts are considered very contemporary and “fashion forward”, and are worn with a button cover instead of a tie.

A tuxedo shirt made from a poly/cotton material is typically what are worn with a rental tuxedo. Though not the most comfortable fabric, it is an economical alternative for the infrequent tuxedo shirt user.

A 100% cotton tux shirt is recommended for their comfortable fit. A cotton tuxedo shirt is made with French cuffs, and typically has larger ½ pleats. We recommend a 100% cotton tuxedo shirt for the frequent user, or for the gentleman that wants a softer, more comfortable fabric.
